Jazz Ensemble is an opportunity for young musicians to come together and experience the unique joy of making jazz music spontaneously as a group.

WE WILL:

• Prepare 3 songs as a band

• Learn how to listen to, play, and enjoy jazz

• Develop our "swing" feel and get comfortable with jazz rhythms

• Learn how to improvise and have a musical conversation within a group

• Listen to great recordings from the past and present
